Daycare Evanston IL for 2 Year Olds
In the Bumblebee room, our motto is ready, willing and able to explore!
The Bumblebee classroom offers a nourishing and trustworthy environment. Toddlers are approaching many developmental milestones and we try our best to enhance their development by offering them a wide array of learning opportunities.
Some examples that can be witnessed are exploration in our sand/water table, building in our block area and the encouragement of an expansive vocabulary in our dramatic play area.
We incorporate letter and name recognition by providing name cards with your child’s picture attached to them. In our class we also encourage duel language in counting in both English and Spanish.
In the Bumblebee room we love singing songs and learning new rhymes. These are a few of the things among many that we do to encourage children’s learning and play.
We encourage both gross and fine motor skills every day in the Bumblebee room. For fine motor skills, we encourage our children to use child safety scissors to cut paper, play with play dough, color and paint to create their own unique art work!
For their gross motor skills we go outdoors where the children can play with balls, ride on bicycles and climb on our climber. We provide a room where your child can flourish and utilize all aspects of their developmental growth and prepare your child for a brighter future tomorrow.
